Annapurna Circuit Trek 18 Days



The Annapurna is one of the the most astonishing, magnificent and extraordinary mountain range in the Himalayas that exists in Nepal. The route around the beautiful mountain range is just spectacular which will keep you astonished and awestruck. It is famous among trekkers, tourists from Nepal and from across the world who love nature and challenges. Trekking enthusiasts love to spend holidays in this area and hence, Annapurna has been regarded as one of the most visited walking holidays in the world. It is not only the trekkers that have made this area a famous one but also every detailed factor that beautifies this region. The trekking trail is of about 300 meters, and the only trekking trails that circumnavigate world’s tenth highest mountain.You will pass through a diverse geographical variation with an introduction to diverse culture, an amazing range of flora and fauna along the trail. The massif offers the most splendid Himalaya vistas that you would not want to miss for any other factor. At the height of 800 meters, you will reach to the altitude of 5,416 meters above the sea level during this trekking trail.
Annapurna Circuit Trek along Thorong La pass which is about 5,416 m can be a heavenly trek. The rush that one gets walking through world’s deepest Kali Gandaki George can be very interesting. Annapurna Circuit Trek is also known as Thorang la pass trek and has been considered as one of the best trekking routes that take you to a heavenly path with views of mountains that surround the circuit of Annnapurna. A majestic view of hills, culturally rich ethnic diversity can be observed on this trail. Annapurna is one of the highest peaks of the world and lies at a height that ranges from 800 meters to an altitude of 5, 417 meters. Located at almost nine hours from Kathmandu, this trekking route can be reached at Khudi where the memorable adventure can begin. On this route, we make a way through Annapurna Conservation Area where green forests, local communities and different cultures can be observed.
Many trekkers-local and international make aspiring walks through this region and walking among them, heading forward can be quite an experience. The road trip can be a challenge with bad road construction but many trekkers take that up as a new challenge. There are new shortcut routes available that intrigues trekkers to walk through the route. The journey can be started by making a way to Sirung Village through Khudi. After that we can enjoy home-stay facility and experience a different road of Kalopani through Marpha. Annapurna Circuit is a remarkable trip which can be completed in 9, 16 , 17 or 21 days depending on your will and time availability.
High mountains, mostly those that lie above 8,000 meters above the sea level surround this circuit and one who passes through this trekking route comes across many of these mountains. One can view a series of mountains during this trek which range from Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m) Manaslu (8163 m), Annapurna II (7937 m.), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna south (7219m), Nilgiri (7041m), Machhapauchhare (6998m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Lamjung Himal (6986m) and many others.

Here is an itinerary for a 18 days Annapurna Circuit Trek:

Day 1: Arriving in Kathmandu
We will warmly receive you at Tribhuwan International Airport and take you to the hotel after completion of all the regal formalities. A reception dinner will be organized for you where you can relax and enjoy a delicious meal.

Day 2: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
The second day in Kathmandu valley can be exiciting and thrilling with the sightseeing and trek preparation. We can go to view the naturally and culturally enriched Kathmandu valley. Kathmandu valley is a home for many world heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhhanath Temople, Pashupatinath temple and much more.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Besisahar to Khudi 
We will head for Khudi the next day which is about 9 hours drive away from Kathmandu. After reaching there we will make our journey through the route that lies on the bank of the beautiful Trishuli River. Nepal is enriched with natural beauty, the dense forests, fast flowing rivers and rivulets , hills and mountains, we can view all these on our journey. Once we reach the highway at Dumre we will head towards Besisahar from where Khudi lies a half an hour away.

Day 4: Walk to Sirung
From Khudi we will head towards a new destination Sirun which is about 6-7 hours away from Khudi and is situated at a height of 2200m. We will be able to observe plenty of beautiful sceneries that include waterfalls, cultivated lands and a typical lifestyle led by the locals. Because of the effect of local culture and tradition, Sirung can be an amazing place for home stay.

Day 5: Sirung to Chamje 
Syange is our next destination which we will reach after taking a walk through beautiful paddy cultivated land, cliffs and sub tropical forests. The walk can be tougher because we will need to climb over high hills in this route.

Day 6: Chamje to Dharapani 
Chamje lies at 1960 meters in Manag district, we will now make a way through fields of Corn, Barley and Potatoes. While we keep on with our journey enjoying local customs on the way, we will end our journey for the day at Dharapani.

Day 7: Way to Chame 
Dharapani has a beautiful view at a height of 2710m which we will leave behind and make a way to a route that has beautiful views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna I and Annapurna IV. This path leads us to Chame.

Day 8: Chame to Pisang 
The walk will be tiring but soothing because of the river flowing as we move forward, the narrow dense forests will give a sense of tranquility which will take us to Pisang.

Day 9: Pisangto Manag 
The upper route through Upper Pisang will lead us to continue our journey with fabulous sceneries, Pisang peak and Annapurna. We will also come across the largest monastery of the region-Barge Monastery.

Day 10: Manang
With the change climate and altitude patterns, Manang will be out destination where we will stay for a couple of hours. The next two days will be challenging and risky and hence taking some time off from walking can give us all a rest.

Day 11: Manang to yak Kharka
We will leave Manang Village (4110m) behind and go over to Tenki to continue our journey to Marsyangdi valley. This route encompasses pasture lands and a forest of Juniper trees. Enjoying the beauty of mother nature, we will reach Yak Kharka making a way through Ghunsa village.

Day 12: Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi 
Yak Kharka will lead us to the base of Annapurna. The settlement is not a crowded one but we will be able to observe a small settlement with busy lifestyle and also trekkers can use this place as a base camp. Thorung Phedi can be a place to take a rest and be charged for the coming day.

Day 13: Thorung La to Muktinath from Thorung Phedi 
The journey on this day will be a tiring one, it will take us around 8 hours to complete the route and reach our destination. We will pass through beautiful yet difficult route. We will being the journey early and only be able to reach out destination-Muktinath a pilgrimage for Hindus by the end of the day.

Day 14: Muktinath to Marpa 
The pilgrimage is religiously and historically very important. Also, it is a place that suffices for an example of natural beauty. We will head towards the lower part of the region once we take a walk around Muktinath. We will head to Marpha(2530m) via Kagbeni and Jomsom. We can observe apple farms here.

Day 15: Way to Kalopani 
Kalopani is 5-6hours away from Marpa. This roué will give us an opportunity to observe Thakali people-an ethnic group of Nepal. There is an apple garden we can spend the night after passing through it and crossing a river.

Day 16: Kalopani to Tatopani 
Tatopani (1200m) is situated 6 to 7 hours from Kalopani. There we can observe different types of flora when we pass through the forest on the way. Tatopani is a natural hot spring, we can take a bath and stay for the night.

Day 17: Ghorepani 
Ghorepani is situated at a height of 9350ft and gives a spectacular view of high hills. We will take a rest at Ghorepani for the night.

Day 18: Ghorepani to Tadapani 
We will continue our trekking to Tadapani from Gorepani. We can observe sunrise at Ghorepani before we embark on our 6-7 hours journey.

Day 19: Tadapani to Ghandruk to Pokhara 
We will head down to 850m from the hills towards Ghandruk village now. Ghandruk has the second largest Gurung settlement in Nepal. We will reach Nayapul from where we ride back to Pokhara which is another beautiful city with rivers, lakes and temples.

Day 20: Heading back to Kathmandu 
We will head back to Kathmandu valley from Pokhara which is six hours away if we take a bus. We can also fly back to Kathmandu enjoying beautiful view from the plane.

Day 21: Farewell
After spending the night at Kathmandu, we will escort you to the airport and arrange for your departure. We will bid you farewell form the airport.
