Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking:
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking is very popular in trekking world of Nepal. It is included as the small Annapurna Circuit Trekking. This trekking destination is very short. While trekking at this short trekking destination, we can have the enjoyment of beautiful scenery of mountains i.e. Annapurna I (8091m), Machhapuchhre (6998m), Nilgiri (7041m), Annapurna II (7939m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV. In this trekking spot we can have the views of many more beautiful and spectacular eye catching beauty of nature. The view point ofGhorepani named poon hill is situated at the height of 3100m above the sea level. From the view point we can get the opportunity to see the spectacular view of surrounding mountains. We should wake up early in the morning to see the spectacular view of surrounding mountains. Along this we can view the scene of sun rising in early morning.

Day 01: Arrival International Airport drive to hotel stay overnight in Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Day 03: Pokhara to Nayapul by car then Trek to Tikhedunga

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival

As you land on Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu, a representative from Adventure Himalaya Trek will be there to welcome you and help you transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. You can visit our office and discuss your trip with us. You stay overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Early morning, we will have breakfast at the hotel of Kathmandu. After having the breakfast, we will pack some important luggage and drive towards Pokhara. The way goes through the Prithivi highway glimpsing. We can see panoramic view all around us. After reaching Pokhara, we can enjoy the leisure time visiting the beautiful lakes, caves, forest, temples and Mountain View from Pokhara.

Day 03: Pokhara to Nayapul and then Tikhedunga

We will wake up early in the morning at pokhara. We will enjoy beautiful sun rising. From Pokhara, we will take a jeep or taxi to reach at Nayapul. Our drive will be of 43km viewing the scene of beauty around the road. After getting off the bus, we will trek towards Tikhedunga. Our night we will be at the lodge at Tikhedunga.

Day 04: Tikhedunga to Ghorepani

From Tikhedunga, we should pass nearby suspension bridge along with dazzling waterfalls. After a climb of about half hour, we will reach Ulleri, a Magar community village. Continuing our journey about 6 hours lastly we will be at Ghorepani at the altitude of 2870m. We will stay night at the best lodge of Ghorepani.

Day 05: Ghorepani to Poon hill and to Tadapani

From Ghorepani, we will start our trek little bit earlier than before towards Poon hill at the height 3210m. From the Poon hill we get the magnificent view of mountains all around us. Early in the morning, we can see the dazzling view of sun rising piercing the White Mountains. We need to return to Ghorepani after the short and sweet encounter with the mountains. From Ghorepani, we will trek towards Tadapani.

Day 06: Tadapani to Ghandruk

After having the breakfast at Tadapani, we will trek torward to the Ghandruk village. The trail will be about 4 hours. We have to cross several forest of rhododendron containing different species of animals and birds. Mostly Gurung people are setteled here. The night will be at Ghandruk village at the height of 1940m.

Day 07: Ghandruk to Birethanti and to Pokhara

On Ghandruk, we will have early morning breakfast then we will resume our journey. The trail of our journey goes through the Modi Khola to Birethanti. Continuing our trek will reach us at Nayapul with a private vehicle to Pokhara. The evening and night will be at Pokhara. Night at Pokhara will be delightful by visiting the local market and lakes.

Day 08: Pokhara to Kathmandu

From Pokhara, a drive of 6 to 7 hours will lead us to Kathmandu Valley. While returning to Kathmandu, we will definitely enjoy the view of green forest and the road side old houses. The evening will be delightful with the visit of market area of Kathmandu. We can do shopping according to our need. At night we will rest at hotel.

Day 09: Final Departure

Final day of your entire trip! You can continue your new trip to some other destination or take the flight back to your hometown. A representative from Adventure Himalaya Treks will drop you to the airport.
