Trip Overview Langtang Tamang Heritage Trek 11 Days

Langtang Tamang Heritage trek in the Langtang region is one of the famous trekking trails in the country. Langtang region has a view of natural beauty including an experience of traditional diverse Tamang community residing in Langtang region. Langtang Tamang region has magnificent views of giant Himalayas along the beautiful Tamang communities around to offer. The trail around Langtang Tamang goes around Langtang National Parks which offers view of different flora and fauna, pasture lands. We can also observe different lifestyles of the locals in this trail. The daily lifestyles of the locals include grazing sheep and yaks in the availbale pasture land which we can see on our route.
The trekking route is an adventurous as well as learning experience that will lead us to know more about the Tamang community that reside by the sides of high mountains. The trekking route of Langtang Tamang Heritage trekking was not opened until a few years ago, this trekking route but now has been very famous. The route was spotted for trekking only a few years ago and has gained a lot of popularity since then. The route goes through the forests of beautiful Rhododendron forests among other beautiful factors.
The route offers beautiful bamboo forest, Rhododendron forest and views of snowy mountains and water falls in between the wilderness. The trekking oute to Langtang Tamang Heritages will begin from a drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu valley. It passes through other beautiful places like Goljung, Gatlang, Thuman, Timure, Briddim, lama Hotel, Langtang valley and Khyanjin Gompa. While on our journey, we will enjoy various natural beauty, sceneries like rivers and rivulets, georges, presence of nature can be felt everywhre. We will also come across flora and fauna that are only found in this region. On the trekking trail, we will pass through a number of forests which might give us the chance of coming across rare and endangered species of birds and animals. We will also come across traditional and cultural lifestyles of Tamang communities. And we will see how they live away from an urban life too. This trekking route can be quite an experience for us. While on the route, we will pass through the diversity Nepal offers in different forms. We will also be able to observe Gumbas, Stupas and Monasteries in Langtang Tamang Heritage Trek

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu 
After your departure at Kathmandu from your international airport, we will come to escort you to the hotel.
We will help you with all the legal formalities and receive you with warm welcome. We will spend the night
in a hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi 
After an early morning breakfast, we will head towards Syabrubesi that will take us about 8 hours. On the
way we can view great Himalayas. We will pass through Trisuli, Dhunche bazaar and then reach
Syabrubesi where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Syabrubesi to Gatlang 
We will hike for about 5 hours passing through panoramic view of Ganesh Himal, Shishapangma,
Langtan Lirun via Goljung village from Syabrubesi. We will stay the night at Gatlang.

Day 4: Gatlang to Tatopani 
From Gatlang, we will leave early after having breakfast and head towards Thangbuchet. We will head
towards Tatopani from there which rests at a height of 2607m. After the trek of about 6-7 hours, we will
reach Tatopani, natural hot spring water, and spend the night there.

Day 5: Trekking to Thuman 
From Brimdang and Nagthali, we will trek to Thuman which goes through a dense forest and Tamang
settlement. After a walk of few hours we will reach Thuman from Tatopani.

Day 6: Thuman to Briddim 
We will head for Briddim from Thuman which is a Buddhist village. The village rests at an altitude of 2345
meters and will take us 6 hours to reach.

Dat 7: Briddim to Lama Hotel 
From Briddim we will get on the trail that descends through Ghopche khola and lead us to Lama Hotel.
The hotel resides at the bank of Langtang River and has beautiful scenery around it. The hotel is our
destination for the day.

Day 8: Trekking to Langtang Village
The next morning we will have our breakfast at Lama Hotel and we will now more to Langtang village. We
will walk through forests observing variety of flora and fauna and reach Langtang village after a couple of
hours which is at an altitude of 3430 meters.

Day 9: Trek to Khyanjin Gompa 
We will have a pleasant day as we pass through pasture lands and meadows from Lantang village to
Khyanjin Gompa. After about 4 hours of walk we will reach Khyanjin Gompa which is situated at the
height of 3870 meters.

Day 10: Back to Lama Hotel 
After reaching Khyanjin Gompa, we will start heading back to Lama Hotel. We will go downhill for about 4-5 hours to reach the hotel. On the way, we will pass through Tamang community and observe their
distinct culture and lifestyle. We will reach Lama Hotel where we will spend the rest of the night.

Day 11: Trek to Syabrubesi 
After having breakfast, we will now head back to Syabrubesi from the main trekking trail. Our trekking
time today will be of about 5 hours. We will reach Syabrubesi by lunch and can spend the rest of the day
observing the view there.

Day 12: Kathmandu 
The next day, we will head back to Kathmandu after our early morning breakfast. We will drive for about
7-8 hours. After a drive of around 7-8 hours, we will reach Kathmandu and can spend the rest of the day
visiting different beautiful places in the city.

Day 13: Farewell
The next morning we will have a delightful breakfast and can start packing for departure. Our team will
take you to the airport and bid you
