Langtang Trekking Popularity north part of Nepal border to Nepal and Tibet’ It is full of natural gadgets, stunning white capped peaks, hidden valleys, landscapes, dense forests, colorful monasteries and sacred Gompas which is very attractive. Over here many Tamang and Sherpa people are setteled down, because of which it is given equal importance for cultural prospective. While doing trekking in langtang Region trekkers are rewarded with unbelievable incredible views of mountains like Langtang Lirung, Langtang Kerung, Dorje Lakpa, Jugal Himal, and Paldor peak, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Shringi Himal. Our route will pass through Conifer Forests, Tranquil Lakes, Attractive Waterfalls, Dense Rhododendron, and Rivers like Snakes which leads us to the high alpine Yak Pastures, Glaciers and Moraines.

Langtang trekking can be taken as adventurous trek because we should Crosse the challenging passes like Gonjala La pass and Gosainkunda pass. We can do several long and short treks in Langtang Region. Some of the popular treks over here are Langtang Gosainkunda Trek, Langtang- Gonjala pass- Helambu Trek, Langtang- Gosainkunda Chisapani Trek and Helambu Cultural Trek. We can see many typical village of Tamang and Sherpa people in this region. They are known as ethnic group of this place. They have preserved their old culture and tradition. So, trekkers can get the opportunity to know their hidden aspects and culture. Maximum number of people in langtang region is Buddhist. Due to which we can see Monasteries and sacred Gompas with peoples’ religious rituals and festivals. Trekkers also can see Hindu great full moon day festival because Gosainkunda one of the important religious sites of Hindu people is located here.

Langtang Trekking is full of natural beauty. Langtang National Park is situated over here which is known as valuable assets of Nepal. Most of our trekking route passes along with this national park. Trekkers can have views of beautiful forests of Rhododendron (National Flower) and Conifer. The forest of Rhododendron and Conifer is full of different species of birds, butterflies and wild animals. Rare animals are also preserved in this national park. Such as red panda, wild dog, musk deer, pika, muntjac, Himalayan black bear, Himalayan thar, Ghoral, Serow, rhesus monkey and common langur. Hence, langtang region is the place where culture, religion and nature including flora and fauna are preserved.

Day 10: Final Departure

The trail passes through the thickly forested area of blue pine, oaks, maple, spruce and rhododendron (one fourth of the park is forest). The trail follows the Langtang Khola river bank until Kyangjin gompa. At Kyangin gompa there are various options for short excursions; Kyangjin Ri (4,773m) is two hour up and an hour down and it offers spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayas.

Visit to Langtang Lirung glacier is 2 hours one-way. Day visit to Langshisa Kharka is worth as it offers views of Shisha Pangma (8,046m) across the land of Tibet. From Syabru the trail leads to the holy lakes for Hindus, Gosainkund (4,380m), where pilgrims congregate on specific days of the year wash off their sins. There are altogether five Kundas (lakes) among which Gosainkund is the biggest and the holiest. The trek down from the holy lake passes through Laurebina La (4,600m) and descends drastically through the forestland of Helambu valley.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival 
As you land on Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu, a representative from Adventure Himalaya Trek will be there to welcome you and help you transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. You can visit our office and discuss your trip with us. You stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
Today, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. You will have the full day guided sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley covering the major cultural attractions which have also been cited as The World Heritage Cultural Sites. After having breakfast in the morning, we visit Pashupatinath, which is considered the holiest temple of Lord Shiva. We then head to Bauddhanath, which is also known as Little Tibet and also is one of the oldest and largest Buddhist Monastery in the world. Following the Bauddhanath Monastery, we visit Swayambhunath, the Monkey Temple, which is equally revered by Hindus and Buddhists. Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the west of Kathmandu. After exploring the Swayambhunath Stupa, we drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. If time allows, you can explore the city. Finally, you will have dinner at hotel and stay there overnight.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi (1462m) – 8 Hours

We start our 8 hours long drive to Syabrubeshi from Kathmandu today. On the way, we can witness the scenic foothills and ridgeline splendors to Syabrubeshi passing Dhunche. The beautiful glimpse of Ganesh Himal and terraced green hills along with the lush green forests will allure you during the drive.We check into the hotel upon reaching Syabrubeshi and stay overnight.

Day 04: Trek from Syabrubeshi to Lama Hotel (2500m) – 5 Hours

Today will be the first day of our trekking. We follow the Langtang Khola river and pass through the dense forest crossing several suspension bridges en route. We also pass by some tea houses and eventually reach Lama Hotel where we stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 05: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3307) – 5 Hours

Today, we continue along the dense forests and then make a steady climb up through the valley. Leaving the tree line behind us, we walk further overlooking some of the marvelous views of Langtang Lirung. We finally arrive at Langtang village, where we stay overnight at a local guesthouse.

Day 06: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3798m) – 4 Hours

Today, it’s going to a shorter walk but it’s adequate for acclimatizing. Today, we will find some very interesting things to explore. You can explore some popular cheese factories in this beautiful valley situated at the lap of Langtang Lirung. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 07: Explore Tserko Ri and trek back to Lama Hotel – 5 Hours

We take our morning time to visit Tserko Ri today where we can enjoy some phenomenal sunrise views. And then, we proceed back to Lama Hotel. It takes almost 4 hours walking downhill to Lama Hotel where we stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 08: Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabrubeshi – 5 Hours
Today, we trek down to Syabrubeshienjoying the easy trek mostly downhill through the lush green vegetation. Today is the final day of our trekking. Upon reaching Syabrubeshi, we check in to the guesthouse and stay there overnight.

Day 09: Drive back to Katmandu from Syabrubeshi – 8 Hours

We drive back to Kathmandu today. It takes approx. eight hours to reach Kathmandu via Bus Drive. On reaching Kathmandu, you can take your time for last minute shopping. We celebrate the farewell dinner with our team tonight.

Day 10: Final Departure

Today, you take the returning flight to your hometown. Our representatives will assist you to reach the airport. You return to your home with an unforgettable travel experience in Nepal.
